CommUnity Nexus CPR/First Aid Financial Assistance Program Overview

Purpose

CommUnity Nexus believes that everyone should have access to lifesaving skills, regardless of financial circumstances. To help make that possible, we’ve created a small scholarship and assistance fund to provide reduced-cost or free access to our AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid with Stop the Bleed class.

Program Details

Each class typically includes 10 participant slots, with 1–2 seats reserved for individuals who may not otherwise be able to afford to attend.
These scholarships are awarded based on personal motivation and community impact rather than financial need — no income or financial information is required.

What We’re Looking For

We want to know why this training matters to you, and how it could benefit you, your family, or your community.
This could include things like:

- You’re a caregiver, teacher, coach, or community volunteer.
- You want to be better prepared to help others in an emergency.
- You plan to use the skills for a local group, workplace, or volunteer organization.
- You simply want to gain confidence in lifesaving skills.

Levels of Assistance

We offer the following levels of support, based on an honor system:

25% discount
50% discount
75% discount
100% discount

We encourage applicants to request only what they truly need so we can continue to help others — your honesty helps extend this program to more people in our community.

How to Apply

Complete the Financial Assistance Application Form below before the registration deadline for your selected class. Applications will be reviewed as they come in, and awarded seats will be confirmed by email or phone.
